Any person
wanting to join us in the purpose of our club is welcome!
Purpose of the Club
To further the common goals and interests of it's members by
preserving, perpetuating and advancing German culture and customs.
To promote the preservation of traditional Bavarian and Tirolean
costume, folk dance and song.
To develop and to maintain an awareness of and appreciation for
German culture and customs encouraging mutual sociability among
its members and the greater community.
We will help you to learn the dances or folksongs
at any age. Children are welcome from age six and up!

Costumes/Tracht |
Members own their own Tracht (costume). Some
items are purchased from a Trachten Supplier in Germany, and some
items are made by a club-specified tailor. Rental items are available
for children.

MEETINGS
|
To discuss affairs of the Club, are held on
the second Friday of every odd month, except July, in the Bavaria
Club Room.
Practices and meetings are held at the
Donauschwaben's German American Cultural Center
