The Schuhplattler
und Trachtenverein was established as a Club to:
further the common goals and interests of its
members by preserving, perpetuating and advancing
German Culture and customs; promote the preservation
of traditional Bavarian and Tirolean costume,
folk dance (Schuhplattln) and song; and, develop
and maintain an awareness of and an appreciation
for German culture and customs by encouraging
mutual sociability among its members and the greater
community. |
